This site is a tribute to Pam, who was born in Wandsworth, London on April 30, 1946.
She grew up in Southfields and attended Lady Margaret's School. She left school to join the Midland Bank, working in the St Martin's Lane Branch.
She met Bryan on holiday in Mundesley Norfolk when she was 15, and married him just before her 19th Birthday. Together they bought their home in Ely Close Rainham, Kent.
Pam had two children, Antony and Julia. After having her children Pam returned to work in a play-school and was soon running Twydall Baptist Playgroup. This was a job she loved and through it she made lots of lasting friendships.
Pam was always active in the community, arranging street parties and coach trips to the London Theatres for friends and neighbours. Her door was always open and neighbours and friends would drop by for tea and a chat.
As her children grew up Pam retrained and was looking for a new job, she visited the job centre to see what was on offer and ended up employed there. Later she was given the opportunity to teach at Mid-Kent college, teaching both adults who were looking to return to employment and YTS students.
From quite an early age, Pam had heart problems and she retired early because of health issues. Fortunately, Bryan also retired early allowing them to travel and enjoy a long retirement together. Pam loved spending time with her grandchildren Hazel, Adrian and Clari.
On the 2nd August 2021, a few weeks after a medical procedure on her heart, Pam suffered a heart attack and she passed away on the 3rd August. She will be missed by all of us that loved and knew her.
